What should the athlete bring to training?

When training indoors, the athlete needs to bring sturdy athletic shoes to wear – no cleats allowed.  Cleats are fine to wear when training outdoors.  The athlete will also need to bring water for hydration.

What makes GTP different from other offensive line trainers?

 Coach Grubbs understands hard work and preparation. The effort that it took for him to be drafted in the first round of the NFL and play the game for 9 years, is the same that he puts into being the best trainer he can be. His first hand experience of playing at the highest level of this game affords him a unique perspective and ability to develop offensive linemen, linebackers, and tight ends into the elite players they want to become. As an added measure, Coach Grubbs has earned his NSCA Strength & Conditioning and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist certifcations to ensure that the athlete gets safe and effective strength training to enhance their overall athletic ability.

What results should I expect from my athlete's training?

The results that your athlete gets will depend on their consistency with training – with me as well as on their own.  Success does not come overnight. A healthy obsession for mastering their craft must be present on consistent basis week in and week out.

What should my athlete eat before training?

Healthy carbohyrates and proteins are good macronutrients to consume before a training session. Also, make sure to hydrate hours leading up to training. Some training sessions are more intense than others so make sure to fuel the body properly. 

What should I do if calendar shows no availability at the moment?

Updates are usually made on a weekly basis, but if the calendar is showing no available dates please do not hesitate to contact me.
